Growing up in rural Kansas, I spent my youth farming and working cattle—experiences that gave me firsthand insight into the grit, resilience, and dedication it takes to succeed in agriculture. These early years instilled in me not just a love for the land, but a commitment to solving the real-world problems that producers face.

As my career evolved into the fields of programming and engineering, I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest names in meat processing, including Tyson and JBS. There, I helped design and implement advanced software systems that optimized production, streamlined data collection, and protected razor-thin margins. But the more I saw behind the curtain, the more I realized a major gap in the industry: the same powerful tools that helped big packers stay profitable were out of reach for the backbone of the beef industry—our producers.

That realization became the foundation of BEEFWare.

With over a decade of experience designing sophisticated software solutions for multimillion-dollar facilities, I set out to build something different.
